November 21, 2000: KWE @ California Institute for the Arts, Valencia, CA. The KWE performed a fun and wild set for Ariel Pink's exhibition reception with big rowdy crowd in the live and cavernous concrete space of Cal Arts. The steel refrigerator crisper snare was on its last gloriously fractured legs. I recall Ariel's favorite tune was La La La with its jubilant Yoko Ono style falsetto. War was a new tune in the line up written just before September 11th. Most songs from the Rare Documents and Out Of Actions recordings.
