November 19, 2002: KWE @ Westwood Star Charter School, Los Angeles, a performance curated by artist-teacher Chris Cichocki. Start gig with jumping jacks while kids chant "KWE...KWE...KWE..." My words and music are bombs ready to explode in the minds of young people. Will the provocative lyrics of "War" or "Hate The Sun" breed new chaos? Will the Dionysian power of rhythm rule the day? Thirty minutes into the set I am puppeteer at the epicenter of the emerging dancing activity. The kiddies start rocking out big time... and then...!
